I have been a licensed estate buyer for the last 35 years, having multiple locations, and jewelry stores, and I recently closed shop and retired from the retail end of the business.  I have a ton of leftover items, not limited to Jewelry, watches or parts, so I am going to sell them all on ebay.  I have a large collection of Sterling Silver serving pieces, as well as object d'art, in Silver
It is getting harder and harder to still find vintage and antique, beautiful silver items, especially with silver prices being what they are.  Too many beautiful things getting torched and melted.  Sad!
Over the last 40 years, I was able to buy from dealers, who either needed money, or wanted to restock their showcases with new or different items.
This is a beautiful solid 925 Sterling Silver huge Goblet for wine or water/  It is heavy, very well made and free from damage and defects.  It is hallmarked on the side, as the English did, and it is guaranteed to be JD & S for James Dixon & Sons.  They were founded in 1806, and were a major player in the silversmith market in england, for a long time.
The inside of the goblet is gold washed, and still has plenty of gold left on the surface.
This is a super large cool, and well made goblet, measuring 8 * 3/4" in height, and it looks even larger in person.  The top opening is 3.95" in diameter, and still nice and round.  This weighs a solid 299.2 grams so a very heavy piece for a single goble.  No mono or engravings of any type.
I do not polish silver items, as I have found that the majority of buyers prefer the original patina left intact.
I will always combine shipping on purchases of multiple items.
Please note that any item that is altered in any way after purchase, whether buy the buyer or by the seller, it can not be returned under any circumstances. This means that I you shorten a bracelet, or resize a ring, I Will not take it back. Please be sure you want what you have bought, before you change it in any way.
