LGB 4175 D&RGW Drover's Caboose
Queen Mary Exclusive - Excellent Condition
This auction is for a Lehmann Gross Bahn (The Big Train)
Denver & Rio Grande Western #4175 Drover's Caboose,
with  its box. This unique eight-wheel, double archbar truck rail car combines the functions of a passenger coach, a baggage car, and a caboose.
This car has hook and loop couplers and has been upgraded with the installation of three LGB 3030(68330) interior lights. This car also comes  with spring loaded opening/closing passenger doors and sliding freight doors.
This
Rio Grande
caboose measures 495mm(19-1/2") in length and is free from damage. It was manufactured in  Germany and is part of the Queen Mary Series of LGB trains.* It comes with its original box, which is in very good condition.
* In 1991, Lehmann Patentwerk (the owners of LGB) created the "Queen Mary Series" to market locomotives and rolling stock that were  painted in liveries of standard gauge railroads but where no standard gauge prototype actually existed. The series name was chosen  to commemorate the 1990 LGB Model Railroad Club Convention, held aboard the ocean liner Queen Mary at Long Beach, California.
