RARE RARE RARE Saudi Arabia SAIF- Arabian Chieftain Sword (18th Century)...from the mid 1700s. An Arabian Horseman’s Sabre. Super FINE SILVER HILT and Guard is missing the tiny silver chain...(replaceable). Slight bend to one of projections at the pommel. Fine Damascus pattern welded blade is marked on spine in Latin or Arabic. Fitting are fine silver. As is seen here, the silver fittings are tarnished black but that is proof of the quality of the silver. Fine fine fine. Strong thick Hand forged blade has wide 3/4 length fuller and is beautifully executed. A fine antique sword of truly tremendous age and quality...and it has it’s original scabbard!!!!! Overall length of sword is 35+inches with 29.5 inch blade and 1.5 inch wide nearly the entire length. Condition is obviously Used. Pmt. expected in 5 days unless other arrangements were previously made. Ships Priority plus insurance. A type of sword that is never offered these days.
