In the first years of the war in 1941-42 ,at various non-specialized machine-building ,мetalworking, car-building factories, the production of checkers mod. 1927 was established,due to the large losses of cavalry during this period,all of them were distinguished by their poor quality,as they were often made by children,women ,men who fought at the front.After the war, almost all the checkers were destroyed,because they did not meet the requirements of peacetime in terms of their indicators, the primitiveness of production.
I offer you very rare saber with cast-iron parts of the scabbard, it is very rare to buy a collection of such a saber in a complete set, until recently, only certain parts were known that were found on the battlefield.I could not determine exactly who the manufacturer of this checker is, since there are no such items in museums.This can be the only one of its kind that will adorn any collection of Soviet period production.
